Restrictions on Forward-Deployed Inventory for Philippines/Indonesia Based Sellers

Warehouse Service Standard for Forward-Deployed Inventory – Restrictions on Forward-Deployed Inventory for Philippines/Indonesia Based Sellers

To standardize sellers’ overseas warehouse operations and to maintain a great customer experience for our cross-border buyers, we are introducing restrictions for Philippines/Indonesia-based sellers’ use of forward-deployed (i.e. where your item is shipped from an overseas warehouse to a buyer in a country that is different from where you are located) inventory.

What you need to know

From 27 Oct 2022, all eBay accounts registered by Philippines/Indonesia-based sellers will need to apply for approval to use forward-deployed inventory. You may submit your application for consideration only if your account is actively managed by eBay.

Accounts which have forward-deployed listings and/or transactions after 1 July 2021, but before 27 Oct 2022, need not apply as they will be automatically granted approval to use forward-deployed inventory.

How to apply

If you are a Philippines/Indonesia-based seller with an actively managed eBay account , please go to seller dashboard (https://dashboard.ebay.com.sg/) to submit your application for approval to use forward-deployed inventory. Applications will be considered based on each account’s business performance and record of compliance with the Warehouse Service Standard for Forward-Deployed Inventory.

If an account manager has not been designated for your eBay account, you cannot apply at this time.

As always, thanks for selling on eBay,

eBay SEA
