We heard your feedback: Some postage services will be downgraded from express to standard

We’ve been listening closely to seller and buyer feedback, as well as looking at our data and we’ve noticed a few express postage services are not meeting delivery expectations. In response, we’re moving some services from express to standard to manage buyer expectations and reduce buyer claims.

Services we’re moving from express to standard from 30 April 2022:
  • All Aramex services
  • Sendle 250g
  • Australia Post Tracked letter with priority sticker

What you need to do

If you want to offer an express option on your listings, you’ll need to ensure you’ve selected a service other than those listed above. If you have any eBay Plus listings with these services as the express option, you’ll need to select a new express postage service before 30 April to retain the badge on these listings.

We’ve automated some return experiences: See what it means for you

Offering returns on listings is important in creating great customer experiences. As communicated in our February Seller News, to make returns simple for you and your buyers, we started automating some return experiences from 15 March

Instead of the buyer waiting up to 3 business days for a return acceptance and a return label from a seller, some returns will be automatically accepted only if the request meets your returns policy or the terms of the eBay Money Back Guarantee policy.

Click the link below to understand when auto-acceptance rules apply and when they don’t.
